A Joyful Gathering in Song and Fellowship – June 29, 2023

During our regular Sunday service on June 29, 2023, we had the joy of welcoming guests from Grace Lutheran Church of Springfield. Their choir shared several beautiful pieces that added a special touch to the morning worship.

A few members of Zion Evangelical Church in Gillespie also joined us, making the service feel especially connected across congregations.

Following worship, everyone was invited to the fellowship hall for a shared meal. About 85 people attended the dinner, enjoying good food and warm conversation — a true celebration of faith and community.

We’re grateful to our visitors and to all who made the meal and music possible. It was a simple, joyful day that reminded us how uplifting it is to come together in worship and fellowship.
